Her acting training benefited her singing. “The two fit hand in hand. In singing, you want to translate the emotion of the songs. I remember Nancy Wilson saying, it was all about the drama. And for me, it is. It’s about the lyric. It’s about telling your story. So the part of me that wanted to act, comes out in the songs.”.
